Thanks I'm flattered. That first pingii is mine and I only restyled it about 4 or 5 months ago, I have a lot more refining to do. The Azalea at the base of the mountain is also mine.

Finally have a few more pics to share from the weekend!

These pics all feature stands that I have made myself. Really happy with how the latest ones have come out.

It was a great turn out over the weekend. We had quite a few interested people asking questions at the workshop, hopefully the seed has been planted for them to pursue bonsai further. Big thanks again to Hackimoto for his excellent demonstration of grafting and layering techniques, and applying an airlayer to my swampy.

Thanks Ray, I've had a couple of requests to repeat it at the December meeting at Carole's place, so I probably will and show the results of the demo the other day.

Haven't got any trees in this time, I think I am at the stage of learning where i can see faults easier so many of my trees are at a recovering from majour work stages. Hopefully for next year i will have a couple worthy of entry.

On the plus side looking at the photo of the tree I had in last year I am surprised how far it has come.

Doors open at 9am today.

Well done Ray and Jeff and all the committee- another great show! I picked up a couple of bargain trees, and took over 100 photos, so plenty of inspiration for a newby.
