This year the club is doing something a little different, instead of 2 demonstrators each day, we are running a club workshop, come along and see members working on their trees, (it will be like several demonstrations all at once) and feel free to ask questions and get interactive with members of the club.

I'll be there on the Saturday morning, and will be one of the members working in the workshop, so come along and say hi!

Looking forward to it. I'll be doing a talk and demo on the advantages of air layering and several grafting techniques for use in Bonsai on Sat afternoon.

If you are planning to come to the show, a visit to Red Dragon bonsai nursery wohld be a good side trip. They have just received a new shipment of pots and have some nice elms in stock. I picked up some new material for the workshop on Saturday.

Only one more week to go!

Feeling relieved. Two stands I was making have been finished in time!

It's going to be a ripper of a show! Over 120 bonsai will be on display. There were some great tree's being brought in while I was there earlier.

And since it's going to rain, what better way to spend a weekend.

Hi Lyn, I just made a phone call to find out,

Sat morning session is a workshop held by some of the more experienced members.

Sat afternoon session at 1pm Qld time is a demonstration and talk on the advantages of grafting techniques for bonsai purposes done by yours truly,

Sun morning is a demo at 10 am I think, by Chris White from Red Dragon Bonsai at Currumbin and
Sun afternoon not sure at this stage.

Hope that helps with your decision.

I have see this show once, a few years ago and is Very well worth making the effort to go and see in person. There are some stunning trees in SE Queensland!

Really enjoyed the show today, very impressed by the standard of trees on display. I have got a lot to learn
