Does anybody know who the sellers were with quite a big stand at the back right of the sales area, the chap was wearing a blue fleece jumper? hoping to contact them about some stock.
Carlitos, 'Right back' depends on which way you are facing??? Vendors selling trees were: Michael S. (1 table next to Gardener's Friend - tools, etc), Shibui Bonsai (3 tables, lots of maples), Baloc(?) bonsai (large japanese black pines), Bonsai Art (1 table, next to Gosing trading - pots) and the Lin(?) family selling off their deceased husband/fathers very nice penjing.

If its Shibui Bonsai you are after just PM me.

Hi All
Thank you again for all the positive feedback on our convention. We are very proud and humble of our efforts. Boon was amazing and when I initially invited him to be the headliner at the convention I knew he was good, but didn't know how truly great he was. What a wonderful teacher. I learnt so much and know I have a very long way to go to get to his level. So inspiring.

I have updated our clubs website with all the photos from the convention. I have categorised them into the different events. They are so many photos so please allow some loading time for the website.

Enjoy.

Are you using an iPad to view the site? The website won't work on Apple products as it is using Flash. Have to rebuild the website one day when I get time. :(

Thanks Ben super images, right click, background...check.

I just can't get enough of that last Mel. Surely its got to be very close to Australia's best Bonsai display, it certainly is IMO. If we ever had to send overseas something this should be it. Each tree is brilliant in its own right, when you visualise them on their own.

Looks like a great show from the pictures posted. Kudos to Bonsai Northwest.
Being that this is one of Australia's premier bonsai events with some of the best bonsai from all around, could the posted photos of exhibition trees be tagged with horticultural name and an artist to attribute to????????????????????
Also a couple of shots of category winners ( if its that sort of show ) would be greatly appreciated.

On another note, what a great banksia truly a first class bonsai. Feelings of joy fill me when I see a bonsai like this of a species that is endemic to our country.

TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nick
