Re: AABC Convention 2012
The first pic is the most amazing portray in Australian bonsai. You really don't get a sense of scale in the picture. So 3D, would be awesome to see this in 360

Re: AABC Convention 2012
Had a good look around this morning and there's some fantastic trees on display, plenty of inspiration for the little growers I picked up.
Bonsai is not a rational act.

Re: AABC Convention 2012
Gerard,
Thanks for sharing some pices for us poor souls who couldnt make it. The first is a ripper, I am guessing a melaleuca(?)
Any chance of pics from the Boon demo, in particular the cedar that a little birdy tells me is heading north

Re: AABC Convention 2012
The convention is going wonderfully, demonstrations by Don DeLuca and Boon Manakitivipart have been inspiring, and very instructive. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow, and the workshops Monday and Tuesday. And the show, as your pictures clearly indicate, is excellent.

Group put together in mid 1970s and trained as bonsai since, restyled in 2007 to current windswept look.
(my photo is a year old)
I will have to rely upon somebody else to post pics of the demonstrations.
