Well its on the move from here
Cheers . Alpineart
to there .I have used its original trunk that died as a pedestal which certainly appeals to my taste . Now I have to create a tray for it to reside in . Cheers . Alpineart

Re: Mt Alpineart
Having just had visitors today and timing couldn't be better .I was just finishing to box/tray so i utilized the friends to lift and tuck it in .
Cheers Alpineart
The box is 900 x 750 x 110 however its only 60mm deep . This will do for now at least i have something to work on for a proper tray . The brickies barrow is for size comparison .Cheers Alpineart

I like the use of the old trunk as the stand, nice tie in. The overhead shot is great to get a better sense of it - she really is shooting strongly. Visitors are always welcome

Waw! I love it...
What will you use to cut off the layer and how long will it take you?

I ask lots of questions that sound like suggestions. Please remember I am a inquisitive newbie trying to figure out why You made a particular decision, in order to learn.

Re: Mt Alpineart
Hi Neli , its not an air layer , it was the base turned upside down and allowed to sprout . It's just sitting on the old trunk I hung onto for the purpose of using it as a monkey pole /display stand with a difference .Neli wrote:Waw! I love it...

Hi Zimzallabim , mate there not traveling just too heavy to move , on a serious note they are still alive and growing .. Winter saw a few shoots or be it little trunks die but the majority are still grow .
Not looking forward to re-potting these I can tell you , but I do own a engine crane so that will take care of the lifting side of things
Cheers Alpine

Re: Mt Alpineart
Hi raging bull , I use my mates forklift to lift the bigger collected material so no need to buy one
. Excavators and crane trunks have also been used to lift and collect material
.
Obviously this material is a bit big or way out of your league for a little fella like you
.
Cheers .Alpineart
