
a while back (a year or so? maybe 2) CraigW was kind enough to hook me up with some corky bark root cuttings. (a MASIVE thank you to Craig by the way

I did take it out of the pot recently just to see how things were going and there is no probs and is going well.
this pic of the rock isnt the one used but is of the same look/style. quite craggy and has interest. the thing with all good root over rock trees is that one key element is the rock, no matter how good the tree is if the rock is round, plain and boring then it takes from the tree and the style.
and here is the tree. its going to be a nice semi cascade. the way my chinese elm are growing at the moment then I dont think it will be too long before it has quite a solid outline.
