Black spots on Trident Maple bark???
Hi everyone, I've noticed these tiny black spots on one of my 20+yr old tridents bark. It doesn't seem to be affecting it's health as far as I can tell, but i'd like to know if it is something I should be worried about and how to treat it. It's on the top of a couple of branches and around the main truck chop area near the apex.

It's the fruiting bodies of the lichen growing on it. Not an issue for health. I personally think it adds character!
