This Benji was your typical standard (lollypop) ficus sitting on a patio, neglected, root bound and a lot of die back. It was given to me in November 2009. Not a pritty sight. I removed the top leaving only a 25cm trunk, cut off most of the roots and re-potted it. Then waited to see the out come. The 1st, 2 photos were taken 2/8/2010.
the next photo was taken on 23/12/2011 after a trim
we are very pleased with the leaf reduction as you can see in this photo,
the lrage leaf is from the top (cutting) of the orriginal tree.

Thats some nice work you've done there Chris would look good in anybodys collection
I love figs but haveing just moved to melbourne the growth has somewhat slowed
