Is it a trident maple?

just had a look and yes it is a trident maple, when they seed they drop and fly like helicopters but if it is a low growing tree it will drop the seed pods near the tree and they will sprout

Yeah you're spot on about the seeds, they almost look like an insect wing or something. Anyway I've got more seedlings than I know what to do with right now!
