Amazing, Im so jealous. How long were you in Japan? did you arrange the visits to nurseries beforehand?

Jealous! I want to go back now, Kyoto was amazing!
I believe they build up an island in the middle then seal up to it like you do with the rest of the pond, like an island. The thing is that they could also be more like dams and the tree just planted on the island. Thanks very much im glad everyone enjoyed it.no david,photography is just a little side hobby so i tryed to sneak them into the video every now and again.luke i was in japan for two week and all the nurseries are open to the public but some are closed one day a week.also jarrod has the ponds spot on.cheers

Amazing!! I can't believe the quality of the trees, especially those for sale. If only we could import without bare-rooting. Did you come home with your luggage full of pots and tools?? Thanks so much for sharing.
