I got one from a standard nursery... I'd try the local nursery, if they don't have it, ask if they can order it... I wouldn't worry about chain nurseries, but if you have an independant one, try there

Some of the seeds I planted are just coming out now. I do intend to find homes for the little guys eventually but maybe you want something that's more than a week old. (The seeds where mail order, just if you were wondering.)

We do have some nice big ones at Bonsai the Imagination Tree, Mt.Evelyn.

I also have a couple of large ones. They are hard work to Bonsai though

Bohdi they seem very brittle I barley bent a branch and it snapped has this been
your experience?.

For a beginner I would recommend Swamp Cypress over Dawn Redwood. Very easy to bend, even older wood.
