Bonsai Nurseries in Hiroshima

Post by Jester »

Hi there crazy kids!!

Will hopefully be going to Japan in May and was wondering if anyone new of any bonsai nurseries I could see in Hiroshima or around that area within say a 70KM radius.I understand there a quite a few. Is this correct. I want to steer clear of nurseries North of Tokyo at this point in time.

Thanks guys

If you don't get an answer before you leave, my tip is to rock up to one of the tourist booths staffed by helpful locals and see if they can't find some in the phone book and then you could sort out what you can see with your time constraints, make a list and a map and organise transport. It's gonna be awfully cold though so I think you will need more than your jester outfit. Also, if you are there you may as well go to Omiya although if everything is covered in snow you may want to check to see if things are open before you head out the door. Have fun and take photos.

Hi Jester, I wouldn't have a clue myself but you could always pm Lindsay...I am sure he would probably know of a few.
Cheers, Dario.
