Tear 'em down & rebuild 'em :tu:

Cant wait to see it once it matures & you get to carving.

Hi Anttal63

I love the shaping you've done on this tree :tu: and am really looking forward to seeing the carving down the track.

Why did you choose to defoliate now - was it to help you wire it up? I have a similar syzigium and am training it into a semi cascade. It seems to be top dominant with growth and i am pinching out the head quite a bit but letting the tail grow out, particularly in this crazy wet weather.

How do you plan to develop ramification on your tree - ie how much and how often will you pinch out the new growth - mine back buds like crazy! :o This is my first syz. so am on a learning curve.

cheers

Stew
