Hi Eliass, Your wiring doesn't look too bad I have seen a lot worse.
Your pine needs to be pruned hard.you need to go over it and reduce all the growths to 2 at any one point, so any where you have 3 or more shoots starting from the same point reduce them to 2. Then you should go over the whole tree and shorten every branch to just a few sets of needles, especially in the crown of the tree where the growth is very strong.
Then put 5cm of dynamic lifter over the whole pot and the tree should bud back like crazy. It would be great if you could get it to push out some buds further back on the branches as they are getting a bit too long.
Hows your hawthorn going ?

Hi Craig, hope your well ! the Hawthorn is doing fine just recovering from a some heavy carving :tu:.

i have reduced all the leggy branches back to tha last few neededls, are you recomending doing this to all branches? also when you say shoots are you talking about candles? where there was 3 i removed the strongest and cut the two smaller ones back to the last few needels.

Should i tack my branch cutters and reduce all the branches back to the last few needles?

thanks for the feedback.

Yes I think you should cut the branches back to try and force some back budding, always remember conifers don't shoot from old wood so its important not to cut back beyond the needles
