Castle Hill Agricultural Show - fri 16th - Sun 18th

Post by kcpoole »

Hi all
Just an FYI to all that the Castle Hill show is on this weekend.
In the horticultural pavilion, you will find a very nice display of Bonsai tht has been entered.

I took My trees up tonight and there was quite a few there already so should be a good display.

It is an interesting opportunity to show our stuff, to a new target audience that are always quite interested too. The added bonus is that you can take the kids, and let them loose in sideshow alley or the rides, while you go and have a look at the trees :-)

there are usually trees being worked on by the minders / carers and a school member is on hand to look after and talk to the public.
Ray Nesci sponsors the show, and is usually there but this weekend will be in Canberra so Clinton is on on Sunday.

The People on Duty all weekend were impressed with public interest and apparently my Jacarandah again generated lots of positive comments.

It is a great way to get the general public exposed to good bonsai as there was a constant stream of people thru the doors and stopping to look
