Train wreck of an olive lol

Post by Olivecrazy »

Ive had this olive for ever it did have growth on the tall trunk but died of way back so just left with the other :palm: .
Any way since being a member here be back working on my trees :D so i cut it back hard an trained the the only shoot left putting some bends into it. Now its shooting like mad :tu: so posting some pictures on here for some ideas on what to do with this one.
Its shooting along the trunk well so should have plenty to chose from in the next few weeks. Ive come up with a quick design below i hopeing it will shoot alot lower then it has right now so can cut the old dead trunk right of. Maybe cut it right back to the new trunk ive drawn in then grow grow grow :lost:

Been a while for a update for this tree :palm: its been growing well after it was lifted from the garden. The front is now the back an have shortern the tall trunk back alot the base is 30cm wide an 90% dead part is also hollow. Its got some gowing to do right now hoping for a shoot half way up the new leader to use as a sacrifice branch  be a nice tree in time right now stands 50cm tall.
