Swampy showing its colour.
This is one of my Swampies under construction. Future plans underway is to undercut the branches and start bringing them down. Beautiful Autumn colour.

Re: Swampy showing its colour.
That's a great looking base Diederik. Unfortunately I don't get any of the colour up here, but trees in the parks do. Not sure if it is because my trees are not exposed and stay warmer ?
Regards Tony

Nice box Sir
Does it knock down completely or are the shorter sides attached to the base ... great work.
And just as an aside
that is a splendid bonsai.
Cheers

We have had really cold nights which has helped the process.Bougy Fan wrote:Not sure if it is because my trees are not exposed and stay warmer ?

Hmmm..the grow box is getting its fair share of attention. I said a while ago i would do a ..how to..tutorial on how i build them. I will have to deliver on that.tex048 wrote: Like the idea for the grow pot too - does the whole thing knock down flat??

Re: Swampy showing its colour.
Hi Bodhi , very nice looking swampy , and that color . You must be having a good Autumn over your way . My tree's are so confused they have some color and plenty of new growth , yet the street scape is all but flashed out .
.Looks like i might miss the color this season although we have 5 days of wet weather forecast so that could change .
Cheers Alpine
