[SOLVED], Is this plant worth keeping ?
Hi,everyone, i spotted this yesterday ,while walking the dog, it was on an empty block that used to have a house on it,the excavator ripped through it and it was left on a mound of dirt for about a year, Today i ripped it from the roots that had regrown, I just wanted to know what kind of plant it is and if anyone has done bonsai with it, also, it might be the wrong time of year to have done this, but i have no choice, it was now or never, for the block is getting built on, cheers in advance,Joe

Looks like a callistemon to me too...
Not the typical variety i'm used to, but the leaves shapes & patterns looks alike.
Let it grow freely for some time and see...
I'd say a keeper!
