I stumbled across this ad online and these figs look nice but I'm too far to pickup.

I saw that too, I don't like the scale (at least I think it's scale) on the trunk so that's where I said no.

I agree, those are just lichens. They make the tree look aged and can be removed. There are a lot more under the soil line. you can't beat this price. Expose the base, chop back a bit regrow the branches and put in shallow pot. I will be worth 10 times what it is on sale now. This guy has 5 more to sell. They may be even better than this. Someone should check it out!

Were is my mate VELVETCICHLID he would be all over that tree like White on Rice :? I think he lives up that way too .................

I would not carve a fig tree as it has very tender fleshy wood and it does not heal nicely and might leave the tree with pests under the flaky carving. I've tried it it and luckily it turned out OK but never again though :crybye:

Port stephens lol not Port Mac Im only 3 hours or so away :lost: i saw these and thought about it, iv seen the same deal at tender centres and garage sales before for $10 theses plenty of unwanted benji house plants around :)
