Just thinking of buying some dremel bits, was looking at the kaizenbonsai Termite Burrs, just wondering if these are comparable.

Dura-Grit dremel bits
Has anyone had, or or heard of, experience using dura-grit dremel bits?
Just thinking of buying some dremel bits, was looking at the kaizenbonsai Termite Burrs, just wondering if these are comparable.

Think they might clog up on the green wood of a tree. If you want really cheap dremel stuff search for widgetsupply in the US. The structured carbide tools are OK in a dremel but don't remove bulk wood like a larger die grinder.

Just ordered two structured carbide bits for around $5 a piece. Oddly widgetsupply is selling the same bits on ebay for double their website price.

I have given them a go and next to useless B.E. As Bougy said they clog up and dont remove any wood. Serious carving needs a die grinder with tungsten carbide bits and the dremel does the fiddly work. You need good cutting tips for your dremel too.
