The virt thread

Post by Andrew F »

Hey guys,

Alot of negativity has been flowing thru the forum as of late, so heres a chance for us to keep within the ausbonsai spirit of helping out fellow hobbyists with their trees.

I thought i'd start a thread where people can post pics for other members to try their hand at virts, whether it be with programs or just sketches for those who aernt as savvy.

Basically a member can post a pic of an unfinshed tree and others can manipulate it for them.

Ill start with a pic, Olivecrazy sent to me:

Constructive criticism is welcome as well :)

Wow That tree has the future makings of a classic, top notch tree. Is the right trunk still alive?

The trunk on the right is all dead the only live vien starts on the far left towards the back an runs up the front of the trunk on the left . When it has filled out like this virt ill make all the dead wood white to see what it looks like :D

Hey squizzy nice tree. Thanks.

Might take some doing to get the branching matching that. There are not a lot of shoots in some areas to make that happen.

My very quick sketch on my IPAD

Very much conceptual but this works easier with the existing branching.
