If it is flowering now (Sept) chances are it is not a Satsuki as the majority, if not all of them flower later in November. Judging by the flower size (10 cent to 20 cent size) it appears to be a Kurume. If the other two smaller ones on either side have a name tag, can you let us know that name as it will give an indication of the size of the flowers and a possible clue to its identity. Are the flowers multi- coloured or is that camera flash reflection? Or maybe older flowers fading?

It does look like Kirin and is a hose-in-hose flower type, as is Kirin, but what's with the multiple flower colour which Kirin does not have :lost: ?

Kirin. Old flowers lose color, new flowers mid pink. Pumped up with ferts too. Would be good if we had a close up of the flower parts, stem and both sides of the leaf :reading:
