Hey Craig,
Congratulations on success with this species, the original photos you posted a while back showed great potential. I am still intrigued by the recumbent nature yours and the wild trees showed, will you try to emulate that in your bonsai or aim for a more traditional tree?

Very fine start, and a very fine species.
Lisa, believe it or not I've just seen M. huegelii at Buzzings at Belco - (leave a couple for me if you would!). Never seen it before on this side of the continent. Some of Craig's other wild-gathered huegelii made me envious.

It's the same tree alright, I've had it for a while , it was first chopped below the first biggest branch.

Gavin, sorry, can't get to any of the Buzzings stores right now, b....r. We're just too late to ask the volunteers that were there last weekend. If you can make it one of these days soon, pretty please get me one, will you?... or two? I'll make it up to you, promise. (Clean skin from Margaret River good enough?)
