Hey Craig,
Congratulations on success with this species, the original photos you posted a while back showed great potential. I am still intrigued by the recumbent nature yours and the wild trees showed, will you try to emulate that in your bonsai or aim for a more traditional tree?

Yeah Craig, I did notice the pin but I thought you had developed a way to reduce the size of a tree through acupuncture!
baaahahahaha!

Gosh, that's one beaut tiny little marvel! I haven't dared make any shohin that small. And like the others, I'd love to know how you did it. Not sure we can get the M. huegelii here.

Very fine start, and a very fine species.
Lisa, believe it or not I've just seen M. huegelii at Buzzings at Belco - (leave a couple for me if you would!). Never seen it before on this side of the continent. Some of Craig's other wild-gathered huegelii made me envious.
(So how did you do it?)

Nice little tree with a big future Craig

I love the natural rhythm and movement.
Now enough with the silence... how did you do it
Is it the same tree as the first 2 pictures? If so, how long between pictures?
Regards,
Steven

Thanks, Craig. The huegelii in your photos might just suffice.

Nice chop work!

Would still take a couple of years to get to the tiny semi-cascade, wouldn't it?
Gavin, sorry, can't get to any of the Buzzings stores right now, b....r. We're just too late to ask the volunteers that were there last weekend. If you can make it one of these days soon, pretty please get me one, will you?... or two? I'll make it up to you, promise. (Clean skin from Margaret River good enough?)
