Layering the Squamata...

Post by anttal63 »

An earlier progression can be found here... viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2852&hilit=juniper+ ... +air+layer

So since then the layer had grown freely up until autumn this year, when it was cut back considerably. It was time for some decisions and a repot this week. After getting it out of its soil and bare rooted i was pleasantly surprised not only with the radial spread of roots but especially with the tickening of the base and trunk !!! 8-)
I will be doing alot more of this with Junis. :tu:
