This weekend we had the grand opening of "stage 2". Royal Botanic Gardens for Natives in Cranbourne.
A small display of native bonsai was a huge hit with the lovers of native trees.

Lovely Gardens Gerard.
What is the tree in the left of the display next to the entry?

Several groups were each allocated a tent for their display, the bonsai could easily have been exhibited out in the open but the tent space is what was allocated.
The tree on the left is a leptospermum (coastal tea tree)
This is an earlier picture of the same tree

They look like very beautiful gardens - especially the arid garden which is quite original. It think this is a good one to put on the visit list. That is a very nice selection of native bonsai on display - well done to the contributors. Did you get photographs of each tree?
cheers
Ash
