John Naka's dictum was:

"Make your bonsai look like a tree, not your tree look like a bonsai."

This one always makes me laugh, every year. It's a plane tree in trendy Manuka.

Well being that they pronounce the name of the suburb incorrectly no wonder they got the philosophy wrong. :D
So the Redwood turns to the Bonsai and says "Lend me a Tenner"......
