Thanks bodhi for showing me how to do
Could see the white roots starting to peak out last 2 weeks .... I thought hecks it's close enough to boxing day .

I have placed in succulent mix and watered with seasol any other requirements ?
As you can see its got a real good roots system so I think it should be ok .

Well done mate wih the layer .

Usually the layer site is unwrapped carefully leaving the moss intact so not to disturb the fragile new roots . Then after a bit of growth the roots can be bare rooted and positioned usually early spring depending on species.

So looking at this it may need good care . Due to the root disturbance .

Haha well done!

Are you still working on the original plant too? If so, does that tissue now scar. Either way, good luck with keeping the lil thing alive now!
