Glad to share the photos and thanks for the kind words about my blog.

I wouldn't go as far as to compare to Japan standard especially professional levels but it's probably the best show in Europe at the moment and you can see by the cards, attracts exhibitors from all over Europe. Hard to keep this standard for an annual show all the same. Each year they pick a special category for judging to keep it interesting. This year was Shohin and last year was Kifu I think. Adds a different element each year.

Thanks for posting, Ian. Some of the more eccentric trunk shapes probably wouldn't work on anything bigger. Interesting.
