[NoUpdate] [MoGanic] Kunzea Baxterii
Obtained seeds from the internet, cost 2 bux.
Currently approx 25cms, ruler is 8" or 20cms.
8 month old seedlings at the moment, but they have some gems hiding in their little leaves.
EDIT: uploaded attachments on comp

G'day Mo.
I was just outside having a good look at my Kunzea Baxteri and I'm afraid to say that it doesn't look like your tree.
Maybe time for a Hackimoto ID?

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Hey Mo, they look like a Leptospermum but can't help with species. Not that it matters as much as the growth you have gotten in 8mths, if they keep it up for the entire comp I think you could have something really good. I am going to be watching this with interest, good luck

Hi all!
Thanks for the encouragement!! First comp hehe!
Now, Im not sure abt the species beyond what the seeds were labelled as - either Kunzea Ambigua or Baxteri. They were tiny little things and pretty much 100% germination rate. I had one seedling that was so healthy, it got ripped out of its pot at abt 4cm and i shoved it in the ground with roots u could count on one hand and now hes growing on also!! That was a month ago btw in the midst of our random heat spell.
I will do a bit of work on these seedlings and take some further pics tonight with some close ups.
Cheers guys,
Mo
