Maple ??

Looks like an Amur maple to me (acer ginnala).

If that's what it is, they are supposed to make decent bonsai.

I'd say Trident maple. When grown in the ground the mature leaves typically look like the ones in your pic.

I would have to say after googleing hard for the last hour .
I think i will have to say trident as well.
