[NoUpdate] [Ninegrain] Ficus rubiginosa 2

[Ninegrain]

• Species name- Ficus ruiginosa
• Original height of stock- 25cm
• Where you obtained it from- cutting from collected tree
• Cost of stock- nil

This tree is a cutting made when I chopped the top off a collected tree when I brought it home. It was taken about 8 months ago and has been in this pot the whole time so I'm not sure on the root development at this point but growth has been good so I'm confident it should be ok to work with.

I removed the trunk on the right, leaving the one at the back and the low, small branch as sacrifices.



I tidied up the two sacrifice branches and wired the two branches on the main trunk to give a bit of movement.



This will likely be the front.




So the plan for now is to just let it grow to thicken the first two branches and the leader before reducing them and beginning the refining process in spring.
