Hey guys,
wondering if anyone knows of the artist who created - or the most recent artist who worked on - this tree?
It's in the penjing style at the moment, but in a bonsai pot I think this would be just as if not more breath taking.
I think this style is called harsh wind style?

Can't help you with who made it Mo but I can say that I LOVE IT. wow
Thanks for posting.
I really like Penjing when they achieve this sort of dramatic and natural looking image. I say leave it on the tray but thats me.
Hope someone knows who dunnit... I would love to check out their other work.
Thanks again Mo.
Cheers,
Ces.

There is a lot of similarities to Robert Steven's work.

That's who came to my mind Mojo. Just a guess though. This is not the same tree, but a similar feeling to me.Mojo Moyogi wrote:There is a lot of similarities to Robert Steven's work.

That is one giant tree if those are islands offshore. Could also be Filipino.

Looking at the back drop, I would venture to say it is Indonesian. Possibly at the Bonsai Cafe in Bali before it was closed and sold.
Might be one of Tedy Boy's.
Just a thought no responsibility accepted if I am wrong.

Thanks for the info guys!! I did a bit more research and this tree was exhibited in the 2009 Guangzhou Penjing Exhibition on Oct 1. I believe this is in Hong Kong?
