Hi Penny,
Those pots are beautiful, honestly, my jaw dropped when the page loaded for me. When I am up at Matts place, he is going to take me over to your studio and I genuinely cannot wait.
Cheers
David

Re: New Pots for Canberra
Great work Penny, it would be hard to pick ONE of these. In fact I was gong to say which was my favorite, and then I looked a few hours later and my mind has changed.
And it probably will again.

Cheers, Karl

Hi Penny. Are you bringing any cascade pots with you? I cant wait to see some more of your work. I really enjoyed your last visit down here and my little slab pot is eagerly awaiting a tree!
So the Redwood turns to the Bonsai and says "Lend me a Tenner"......

Hi Isitangus.
It wouldn't be fair to those attending the conference to pre-sell all my best pots.
Sean, I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone and I haven't yet seen any of your trees in your own-made pots!!!!!
I will be bringing some cascade pots down. I did unpack a few yesterday but haven't had time to look at them as I had to re-pack for a bisque which came out this morning and re-pack and fire some freeform pots. Andrew, one of them is a large one for you with a seperate round base. As the pot is oval, it doesn't sit well so I now need to make an oval base for it. Just as well I tested it first.

Andrew's pot. 55cm x 34cm x 14cm.
Unfortunately, it cracked during the firing. I hope the next one will fire OK.

Re: New Pots for Canberra
There is a good reason you haven't seen my pot with a tree in it. I have to find one worthy of a semi Mudlark pot
. (Actually I was in hospital and missed my re-potting opportunity).
