Shimpaku Before & after Convention

Hi All, this is a showin shimpaku before and afte i picked up at the convention in Canbera on the weekend, still needs work will re visit it in spring.

You sure were inspired by the convention weren't you John!

Looking good mate and very similar to mine. Must be from the same grower :tu:

Do you know if this one grown by twisting branches together and then aerial layering once they fused?

Great weekend Steven good Bonsai good Food and BEER. These shimpaku have been grown and trained for many years,i will be seeing the grower at the BSV sale day on the 3 June

Yes Brian,cleaned dead wood with wire brush then limesuler
