Holy Moly John.

Fantastic Tree's!

My Ash's leaves just dried up and died this year?
No colour even looked a little like the tree just dried and died itself!

Apparently not though.....
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

John, the ash on the left (closest to the camera) looks terrific! It is hard to see the other one as clearly.
Could you please post a couple of pics of it when you repot into a bonsai pot? I would love to find out how long you have had it in training etc.
Looks great :tu2:
Cheers, Dario.
PS yeah Autumn colour has been pretty hit and mostly miss for me this season with my potted plants in training.
Ghinko got a duller than usual yellow. My white poplar did the best with some nice yellow. Ash a sickly yellowish green.
Maple in the ground is starting to colour but in the pot there has not really been much change at all.

Nice Ash John! Again, goes to show what can be achieved when the time is spent wiring your trees all the way out to the tips.

I'd love to see some more pictures of these trees in front of a neutral background too please.

Regards,
Steven
