hi people,
I have read that seaweed assimilate a lot, if not all minerals present in seawater into its cells for growth.
this would be over 70 major, minor and trace minerals, and also supplies plant hormones amino acids etc.
I ver clearly remember seeing a COMPLETE breakdown of these in a very detailed profile of seasols nutrients a long time ago, but for the life of me i can find it.
Ive looked on seasols wesbite, even the commercial section, and the only breakdown available is very short and not very descriptive at all.
anyone know where i can fine a complete breakdown of seasol or seaweed in general.

Re: Seasol Complete nutrient profile
The reason you can't find such a breakdown is that every batch is different - depends on time of year, where the seaweed came from and possibly how it was processed.
This is the reason seaweed products can no longer be marketed as fertilizers. The big fert companies challenged the analysis and convinced regulators that only products with CONSISTENT and GUARANTEED analysis could be sold as fertilisers. That's when the seaweed companies invented the term 'soil conditioner' It is NOT that there are no nutrients, it is just that they cannot GUARANTEE the amounts in each batch will be the same.

Ok so maybe nutrient profile isn't a good term, but what I mean is trace element profile, like I explained in my
Post.
