So that you are not confused with the title I though to start a new thread with tree from the workshops and his Sunday demo. A lot of the workshop participants got a shock. Some even brought in two trees think this wont take long.
Well one spent the first hour cleaning out,and he was not the only one. Then when they thought they were going along fine!! take that of and do it right, wire is most important.
It was a pleasure to see some of the members brought back to reality. Enough of my ramble here are some work shop trees.

It really is so important that effective wiring is reinforced. I'm please that Mauro cajoled and humoured us all to wire well.
It takes less time and less wire to wire a tree correctly. It is one of those idioms where 'near enough is nit good enough'!

Looks like I did miss a great part of his demo! That second tree looks amazing, as do those workshop trees!

EDIT just had another look at the pic labelled Oak, and it looks like it is possibly a type of Turkey Oak. Maybe I misunderstood your response?

Dario the Oak looks like an English Oak(quercus robur) and the unknown tree I would agree it definately looks to be Corkbark oak(quercus suber).

Thanks for posting Pup. What I liked about Mauro was he was very entertaining to watch and listen to while he was working on his trees. Kept everyone informed as to what he was thinking and why he was doing what he did. Some great trees in these pics.
