Fusing trunks

Post by Goff »

I've have seen some great results of using a few ficus trucks to make one thicker trunk.. Can this be done with other types of trees like ash or Chinese elm?

Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines

i have seen it done to maples. I went a crazy two years ago and have about 100 ash and 50 elms seedlings. So my question is really about the ash and elm. I think ill just have a crack and see what happens.
