Re: Vietnamese Bonsai & Orchid Exhibition
Hi Zyggy R,
Thank you for the info
I have visited Mr. Hạnh Nguyễn the other day. He gave me an earful on how disengaged some people are from their own ethnic community
He is one of the principal organisers and a very enthusiastic one at that.
I will be there. And I should think I can take photos.
Regards.

No problem.
I am always happy to promote any bonsai club of all ethnic backgrounds when I can, being the son of a boat person from Europe after the 2nd WW I ............
My friends in the Philippines , Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia and the rest of SE Asia enjoy my posts.
We can all band together to promote our passion!

Re: Vietnamese Bonsai & Orchid Exhibition
Please accept my sincere apologies -- I do not have any photos with me at the moment.
I went this morning. When I got there, I realised I forgot my camera, I charged the batteries the night before.
I went to my brother-in-law, we went again and took photos, he burnt me a CD -- 10 minutes ago, I found out that there are no photos in it.
Next week, my sister will bring a CD down... hopefully it is not a dud again!!
Please accept my sincere apologies.

Re: Vietnamese Bonsai & Orchid Exhibition
For those of us who were at the Vietnamese show it was a nice weekend, we watched the guys chop up trees ,pot them and sell them.
There were a few talks on plants that were on display and for those of us who needed an interpreter.
So here are a few pics, I am sure Zyggy will post others soon .
enjoy joann
