Pot ID Help Please
I purchased this pot with a couple of other things recently and was told that it was "expensive Japanese" however I had a look through some links that were posted here before and couldn't see the mark.
If anyone could assist I would appreciate that (and if it is expensive Japanese that would be even better).

Re: Pot ID Help Please
Looks like there are not many pot experts about? I originally though it might be a Hanko2 but the part on the left has me confused.

Sorry Watto but if you paid $100-00 thats expensive if you paid $ 5-00 thats cheap. Is it valuable, to you yes.

I have Uchida Yusuke staying with me at the moment, he was looking over our pots. His favorite Australian word is NICE he has said this of many of our pots.
When pressed he justs repeats nice. He has also said that of Kilkenny and Chivers.
Cheers Pup

I think chinese too. i have one very similar. The chinese are stamping the majority of there pots now although, not well. It is collectable Watto, just keep it for another 50 years.

Re: Pot ID Help Please
Ho Jow , mate the 2 nd mark can from "The Japanese Pot Blog" you posted here some time back , it would appear strange that a chinese mark would be included in the Japanese Pot , Marks , Chops and Signatures site ??.

Re: Pot ID Help Please
I think that is where I saw it as well Alpine, but I don't know enough to put a differing theory. But it is quite a nice pot just need something to put in it now.
