Yeah it gets busy once they say "come on in". I'll be looking for pots more than trees though. Gotta do something with trees I've got before I spend to much more on trees, but you never know, a tree or 2 might just happen to sneak in. As my daughter says " that old thing, we've had that for ages". Lol

I agree Marcella. Plenty of really impressive native bonsai hiding in Melbourne. It will be great to see some of them in the one place.
I've earmarked my 'waterswept' Callistemon and one of my PJ figs for display this year to support the native theme for this year's show.

Look forward to seeing everyone there - next weekend :tu:

In the sales area you can buy nursery stock, established bonsai, pots, wire, tools, books, stands and for the first time bonsai 't' shirts (long and short sleeve) and hoodies.

Only 3 more sleeps Victorians.....
Pity Watto has scheduled the Goulburn bonsai show in opposition..... I suppose the crowd at Box Hill will be well down this year
More chance to get hold of the good trees from the sales tables :?: More room to view the excellent bonsai in the show :?:

Plenty of native starters and a few semi advanced ones will be available on the sales tables and there's plenty of pots, tools and supplies on the other trading tables, all at reasonable prices.

See you on the weekend

For those who's partners are less interested the caterer makes a senstional cup of coffee and a good choice of homemade goodies for morning or afternoon tea. Or the Box Hill shopping centre is only a 3 minute walk.
We will be setting up on Friday when I will try to get a few preview photos.
