Goulburn Exhibition - The Photos
As the other topic on our exhibition was getting a bit long, I thought I would start a new one just to show some of our bonsai that were exhibited last weekend. I have said before we are a very small group but what we lack in experience and numbers we certainly make up for in enthusiasm. I think we made enough money to cover our costs this year and we have increased our member numbers by 20% or so, all good news.
Anyway - here are a few photos. Sometime in the next few days I should have all the photos on my blog if you want to see them all. We hope you enjoy.

Some very nice trees there. While other commitments kept me away this year I will mark this down as one to visit next year!

For a group that "lacks experience" that is a show full of great trees, a few different trees also which is nice.

Thanks Watto!
Good stuff!
Good stuff!
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Thanks for posting. The three literati stood out for me, and the last corky bark elm - all very tasty. So where is all the paddock-stuff you've been digging? And when do we get a go at the deer-pruned stuff you posted a few months ago?

Mark - see you next year, come and say hello.
Isitangus - its only a few minutes down the road from you so we probably see you next year too?
Gavin - a lot of the trees on display were from previous digs, and there will be more of the recent digs in the coming years
Meagi, John and Boics - thanks for your lind words. When others appreciate the effort it makes it worth while.

I will be there again next year, why... Well it's relaxed, well run, good people.

Well done Goulburn, i know how difficult it is to organise these events and the unsung members who do the bulk of the work

I agree with Mr "G" here.GavinG wrote:The three literati stood out for me, and the last corky bark elm

Thanks for posting Watto.
Some nice trees in there for sure.
Does anyone know what type of pot the English Elm_image 50 is in? I have been looking for a similar pot for one of my EE.
Thanks
Matt
