Trident Maple
Started July 2008 over the rock. July 2013 repot the roots were starting to 'melt' to the rock. The collar is on to encourage more development and keep the carrying weight of the tree down. The glad wrap is around to top to encourage a slender root to thicken with continual moisture.
Fine older Japanese tray pot. Rare as hen's teeth.
Tree 45 cm tall

It can be shipped but ONLY if the purchaser arranges pick up, packing and shipping. I will not pack for shipment.
And how do you know the roots in the collar are good?? It's a trust thing. They are coming along very well.
