Always nice to get the chance to breath in the country air, lots else to see and do in and around Castlemaine and not to far from Daylesford etc.
See you there

Bruce, this is not my show, nor my flier, I am simply passing on information to the wider Australian bonsai community, namely those in Victoria who would find it a pleasant day out. This information was posted in good faith as I received it, and it is certainly not my job to alter it. However, I am unaware that there is any other "Castlemaine, Goldfields" in Australia, but since you seem a bit confused ... "Castlemaine – City in Australia – Castlemaine is a small city in Victoria, Australia, in the goldfields region of Victoria about 120 kilometres northwest by road from Melbourne and about 40 kilometres from the major provincial centre of Bendigo." [Wikipedia]. And if you read a bit closer their flyer clearly states the days, dates, times and YEAR. Common sense would also relate both the date on my OP and my location in my details as Victoria. Hopefully this http://australia.gov.au/about-australia ... area-codes can help you work out the telephone state area codes in the future. Enough said. I too hope they have a wonderful show!bonsaibruce wrote:Greetings,
Please remember that this forum is Australia wide and also has international members.
If you post information about shows or clubs please include the state and the dialling code for telephone numbers.
Also so there will be less confusion in the future if date that is used has the year, not just the month and day.
I wish you well for a wonderful show, I am sorry you are too far away for a visit.
Happy bonsai,
Bruce.

I wondered, I've seen that in a few stores around here. Looks like a true vine, but the leaves are tiny and I've wondered how long it would take to get a trunk on one. That's a really unique idea though, very interesting.cre8ivbonsai wrote:Jason wrote:Thanks kindly for the pics!!! That vine over the wall is different!!?Miniature climbing ficus (apparently)
Looks like a great setup, everything displayed very well. Great job.bodhidharma wrote:Great photo's RyanI will add some more shortly but you have covered the bulk of it. I think we, as a club, are getting better with displaying and should have it down pat in another few years. The setup only took two hours this time.
