New Melaleuca quinquinervia

Post by Naimul »

Hi guys,

I just bought a few trees from Ray Nesci's nursery today, one being a Melaleuca quinquinervia. Being my first native, i am a little unsure when i should go about repotting and how much to cut back when root pruning. i have done some reading both here and on the wiki page, but i am still unsure.

At the moment it is still in its small pot, but i am planning on slip potting it into a larger one in the next few days. its a little dark for photos, but i plan on making a nice twin trunk out of it, though i would like some advice on how to get there.

thanks.
Acer buergerianum, Acer palmatum, Bougainvillea (something), Ficus microcarpa, Lagerstroemia indica 'Fauriei', Melaleuca styphelioides, Olea Europa, Prunus (something) 'Dwarf Apricot', Quercus robur, Ulmus parvifolia, Zelkova serrata
