This tree needs 3 years of branch and foliage development but its scope for carving is fantastic and it can be made into an impressive bonsai. It is very healthy and just waiting for spring warmth to burst into new leaf. There are potential leaders on both sides. A bonsai artist's dream tree... at least a bonsai artist with a Dremel ready and waiting!!
