One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Re: Self grown Accents
Very nice, Peter. Any chance of getting a shot with the tree too? They might be too small, but thought I would ask. I've been a bit obsessed with eucs lately.

Cheers, Karl

Re: Self grown Accents
These self grown accents really make the bonsai look well presented. I have got 3 of these little mushrooms and some fern growing in the pot along with my Celtis Orientalis.

Re: Self grown Accents
Lackhand,
These are too small to be picked up on a full photo. The tree is a bit rough presently due to winter. This is a picture I took last year.

Peter

Re: Self grown Accents
Nice tree, Peter, thanks! What species is it? I don't think I've seen one with leaves quite like that.

Cheers, Karl

Re: Self grown Accents
Its a Eucalyptus polyanthemos. Juvinile leaves are round and hard to reduce size. It can produce leaves as big as a hand. These are about the smallest I have been able to produce.
