Celtis africana: gradual progress and advice on pruning (3)

We moved in December from Johannesburg to Cape Town, a summer rainfall area to a winter rainfall area, as stated in my previous posts. I bought the Celtis in Mokopane (north in South Africa in 2010)

I have the same questions for the Celtis africana as for the ficus:
  • What should the position be in winter, seeing that we have a wet weather
    Advice on pruning and shaping please
