I put some of my indoor plants out for an 'air' and smartly brought them in when my son came home and said there was sleet and flake snow in the air. It is cold today, 8C and winds of 35 km hour. Mind you we are up high 1,000 meters. I remember 1996 we had the BIG hail storm, the day of the RLeague Final. 80 roofs were damaged in Armidale. Trees were defoliated. Only one sheep died, but cars left out of course some were written off. Everyone was inside watching the final. Change of seasons. Always can be bad. All the trees recovered though stronger than every except the fruit trees blossoms.
I am always tuned into Essential Energy Stormtracker, and BOM. And there are sheep graziers warning out for parts of Australia.
